If you have a desire to support DWE students then you are in the right place! Below are several capacities in which we consistently need PTA members to serve.

Executive Board and Committee Chairs

Board members work on a volunteer basis and meet monthly to plan events, fundraisers and strategize as to how our Due West PTA can best assist staff, teachers and students. Committee Chairs volunteer their time in specific roles and capacities throughout the year.

Room Parent

Room parents are selected at the beginning of the school year to serve their student’s teacher as needed. Their roles vary from planning classroom events to communicating PTA information to parents and so much more.

Staff Appreciation

We take several opportunities throughout the year to treat our teachers and staff. Stay on the lookout for needs via email. Whether you can assist in serving food, picking up a staff member’s favorite snack (check out our Staff Favorites List), or have your student gift their teacher a card of appreciation, these all help to serve our staff.
